The Cats Motel was first built on the original Bapton Farm in the Withycombe area of Exmouth and has been an established cattery for about 35 years.
Roger and Judy Davis have owned and run the cattery for 20 years since November 1989. Roger is the Chairman of a local football club and also serves on the committee as a Trustee of the Exmouth Animal Dispensary, a Charitable organisation which was set up to assist the local people of Exmouth with veterinary fees in appropriate circumstances.
Roger looks after the day to day running of the cattery along with two assistants who have been fully trained on the premises to provide a friendly and efficient service to all our customers.
About Us
Judy also assists with the administration and appears to have been appointed ‘Head Gardener’, usually supervised by our own cat, Louis, who often enjoys welcoming customers at the gate.
We have built up an excellent reputation for our care and attention over the last twenty years and are delighted that we are recommended by existing customers and the local veterinary practices.
The local Agricultural College at Bicton has approached us over the years to provide work experience to students studying animal care and we have been happy to oblige on many occasions giving them an insight into the management and day to day running of the cattery which we hope has been of benefit to their studies.
We welcome visitors to the Cattery and are happy to show you around during opening hours, discuss your requirements and answer any questions you might have regarding boarding your cat as we know how important it is for you to have peace of mind.
